4039 Intimacy by Bandmaster
This was a lovely puzzle with, as is expected from Bandmaster, witty
and clever clues. Fourteen answers needed treatment. With the crossword
convention that I can equal one and O can be zero, these answers had to
be jumbled to form the name of a football club plus a score of 1 or 0.
With the title thus treated to MAN CITY 0 and 36 down as HULL 0, these
treated entries gave the following football results.

Port Vale for their excellent results against Premiership opposition!
