This week's puzzle is an enjoyable offering from Gioconda in the classic mid-range Listener style - a pleasant relief after the rigours of the last two weeks.
Corrections for misprints in definitions spell out AND WHAT SHOULD MASTER PLAY BUT. This is part of a quotation from Robert Louis Stevenson - "and what should Master Gauger play but 'Over the hills and far away'". Answers to the remaining clues are to be modified appropriately - any synonyms for hill are to be entered backwards and all occurrences of FAR are to be removed. The missing word "Gauger" was to be written under the grid.
