Track Record by Raich

In twenty-three clues (those with answers of six letters or more), the wordplay leads to the answer with an extra letter which is not entered in the grid. Other clues, ie those with answers of five letters or less, are normal. In clue order, the extra letters give information on forty-five letters which solvers must highlight in the grid (or indicate with their solutions where they are found). Two clued answers are abbreviations.
